“Let’s make The Lyinc the reference for international clubs in Lyon!”

After 15 years of expatriation in England, North Africa or Romania, I felt a sweet nostalgia when I returned to France in 2013. This feeling which is inherent to expatriates when they return to their homeland and remember the richness of exchanges abroad, the mixture of cultures, and the specific atmosphere of each country they have been able to discover though their experiences.

It was in 2014 at the Lyinc that I was able to find, in the heart of a privileged setting prone to sharing, the atmosphere and conviviality of these past moments. To think that it took me more than a year to discover this nugget! Although not originally from Lyon, I was quickly integrated into this dynamic and innovative intercultural network: an opportunity to re-establish international links from Lyon!

It is therefore only natural that my involvement has increased over the years: first as a member and then as a board member, with a very particular resonnance since KPMG was one of the Founding Members of the club in 2010 thanks to the support of the late Doug MacLean.

Identifying how the Lyinc works, its challenges and its vocation to promote Lyon beyond the Rhône and the Saône only confirmed my deep attachment to the club.

Our common ambition is to make the Lyinc the reference for international clubs in Lyon by targeting an even wider opening to the world through new bridges such as the art, sports and culture – amongst other things through exhibitions and by putting the spotlight on young artists. As for the diversity of our members, representative of the richness of our local ecosystem, our mission will be to develop it further, particularly with mid-cap companies in the region.

In short, rich projects that I look forward to undertaking with you!

Today I am proud to wear the Lyinc colours high and to ensure its continuity by succeeding to my friend Yves Revol, who has invested himself selflessly to make the club grow.

I would like to thank him warmly, as well as our welcoming team and all Lyinc members for their trust and their daily investment, which will help us consolidate our presence in the Lyon area.
